Olympus Tough TG-1 iHS – A perfect companion for every occasion

It has been the craziest week of my life. Thanks to my new tech toy that kept me on my toes the entire week, as I was busy exploring its potentials. After waiting for almost two years, last week I finally bought my first waterproof camera - the Olympus Tough TG-1 iHS. And, it has become a perfect companion for a snap shooter like me. Since I’m a water baby, I’ve tested my new achievement both inside the pool water as well as in the ocean water. Regular cameras don’t hold up well when they are dunked, but my new camera allowed me to capture some amazing pictures even in the submerged conditions. Not only does it hold strong in water, but it captures perfect shots in all unforgettable environments also. It can survive well when dropped from heights up to 6.6 feet, withstand 220 pounds of pressure, and function even in harsh climatic conditions, which range from hot and humid to when temperature drops to 14°F. Not just this, this waterproof, shockproof snapper is also kid proof. My son spilled his dinner on it, but it’s still working perfectly.

Let me tell you some amazing facts about my new snapper. This is the world’s first high-speed, ultra-bright camera that will help me capture high-quality images at shutter fast speed, even in the dim-light conditions. The 12-megapixel TG-1 iHS can shoot full-resolution images at 5 frames/second, and also offers built-in GPS, an electronic compass, and a manometer. Apart from being an extremely rugged camera with a perfect metal body and shock-absorbing features, it also has 12 magic filters that allow you to easily choose from a wide range of easy-to-apply looks and feels. All in all, my new TG-1 iHS is an impressive speedy camera that has made everything else in my life take a back seat.
